Psychologist's tips: how to tackle depression

Spring depression is a so-called seasonal depression. This means that symptoms appear at the same time every year.

Torbjörn Åkerstedt, professor emeritus at the Stress Research Institute, has previously told SVT that research shows that 15% of the population in Sweden feel down in the spring.

The symptoms required to be classified as care depression

According to David Waskuri, for it to be considered depression, you must have had recurrent symptoms for at least two years. They must also last for at least two weeks.

- If you find everything boring, feel depressed, are tired and don't enjoy the things you usually do, it could be a case of depression," he says.
